Reports

Reports are the heart of your Stardraw Cloud application's output. For a User they can collate and display any information from a Project in any way that you want.

Application-level Reports can be used to give insight on your Users and the Projects they create.

Reports are templates that can be configured to display data in all sorts of ways. Their power lies in the ability to extract information from different data sources, then analyze, list, group and operate on that data in ways limited only by your imagination.

You have the scope to create any type of Reports you want, for example:

  • Quotations and Estimates
  • Orders
  • Invoices
  • Bills of Materials, Equipment Lists, Parts Lists
  • Custom Layouts and Project Drawings
  • User activity reports
  • Application usage reports

Your application can contain as many or as few Reports as you want.

Authoring Reports

Your Stardraw Cloud application contains a powerful Report Designer that you access via the Admin Portal.

In the Report Designer you decide what data a Report will show, how it will work with the data, and what the final output will look like.

The Reports you create can be made available to Users of your custom application, or they can be Admin-level Reports which analyze your Stardraw Cloud application itself.

Project Reports

When Users have created a Project, the usable output will be in the form of Reports. These can be, for example:

  • Layouts, or drawings, from the Project
  • Bills of Materials or Equipment Lists
  • Quotations and Estimates
  • Orders

Application Reports

The Administrator of your Stardraw Cloud application can use application reports to analyse your Users and the Projects that they create. You can see, for example:

  • Your most popular products
  • Your most profitable products
  • Your most active users
  • Application usage
  • and much, much more
